Happy Highchair

Mary and Joe Lacoy, parents of Leslie Briggs, and Leslie painted this child's highchair. Mary made the cushion, too. It comes complete with a fluffy stuffed rabbit.
Just one of the many creative chairs you'll find at the Ladies of Charity Chairs for Charity Auction & Pass-Along Plants Sale on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at Sacred Heart Cathedral School Gymnasium.
Don't forget -- Mother's Day is May 10!

Three Bears Chairs

We all know Momma deserves the nicest and biggest chair, then comes Papa's chair followed by Baby's chair. Donated by Leslie Briggs, a member of the Ladies of Charity.

Glitter Galore

Stephanie Clay, a member of the Ladies of Charity and a graphic artist in Sacred Heart's Marketing Department, decorated this sweet little footstool by painting it and arranging glittery die-cuts in a pattern on top, then coating with varnish.

Rock On!

Leslie Briggs (a member of the Ladies of Charity and her parents, Mary and Joe Lacoy, worked on this special rocking chair. Leslie bought it, Mary made the pillows and Joe tightened up the rattan. Thrown in for good measure are a Cutie heart pillow and a pink duckie.

Bunco!!!

You'll be yelling "Bunco!" when you have a seat in this chair. Paula Armes' decorated it in the spirit of the Bunco game, the ladies' card game that is so popular in our area. Paula works in Environmental Services at Sacred Heart.

Cup-O'-Joe Comeback

Pippa Nicholson-Kuenn, President of the Ladies of Charity, won the bid on this chair last year. She decided to put it up for bid for this year's event. Thanks Pippa!

Egghead Returns

This chair's former life was as a child's potty chair. Now it's home to bird's nest! It made its debut at last year's Chairs for Charity event and was purchased by Julie Perez, a member of the Ladies of Charity. She has donated it to this year's event.
